Sustainable production is a key pillar of the Food Factory of the Future. Improving the efficient use of energy, water and raw materials, while reducing food losses, is among the most pressing challenges facing the food industry today. During this conference day, companies and experts will share insights, experiences and practical examples of how they are addressing these challenges. Discover how innovative technologies and smart processes can contribute to a more sustainable and efficient food industry.
Energy4Food also returns on 19 May 2027. This well-established event will be integrated into a broader programme on sustainable production, bringing together topics such as energy, water, raw materials and food loss reduction.
This conference day forms part of the three-day Inspiration4Food Days organised by Flanders’ FOOD, centred around the overarching theme ‘Food Factory of the Future’.
Save the date and join us on 19 May 2027 at the BMCC Bruges for a day filled with inspiring case studies, new insights and practical approaches to sustainable production. Alongside a strong conference programme, the Inspiration Village serves as a central meeting place where visitors can discover innovative technologies, practical examples and the expertise of organisations helping to shape the eco-factory of the future.
A guided exhibition tour is also included in the programme. Our aim is not only to inspire food companies, but also to connect them with technologies, solutions and partners that can support them in tackling their sustainability challenges.
This conference day is aimed at professionals from the food industry who are looking to make their production processes more sustainable, as well as technology providers and other experts active within the sector.
