Bioengineer Food Technology
After graduating from KU Leuven in 2016, Lore remained at the university for another three years. She conducted research into the functionality of plant-based protein and their potential as a dairy substitute.
She joined the Flanders’ FOOD team as Innovation Manager in the autumn of 2019. She works on projects and collaborations that fall under the ‘New and Shifting Resources’ program. So the experience she gained with plant-based protein is a great asset.
Two of her favourite hobbies are cooking and eating, but she also likes to travel. She loves walking and running, preferably surrounded by beautiful nature, as a way to relax.
