Jitske Van Haute

Industrial Bioscience Engineer

Jitske graduated in 2024 as an Industrial Bioscience Engineer, specializing in Food Technology, from KU Leuven. She subsequently completed a postgraduate program in Innovative Entrepreneurship, which allowed her to further develop her interest in innovation and the food industry through an internship in the brewing sector.

Before joining Flanders’ FOOD, she gained experience in the fields of food safety and microbiology. Today, she is part of the World Class Food Processing team at Flanders’ FOOD, where her passion for food, science, and innovation comes together perfectly.

Outside of work, Jitske enjoys staying active. You will often find her at the gym or outdoors in nature, where she loves running and taking long walks with her dogs.
