Launched in 2023, the Biotech4Food project aims to accelerate the development of new value chains at the intersection of biotechnology and the agri-food sector. During the final event, key project outcomes will be presented, with a focus on solutions that contribute to more sustainable, circular and competitive food production systems.
The programme features several thematic round tables and panel discussions addressing key topics such as sustainable protein innovation, the advancement of functional nutraceuticals and the development of novel ingredients for future-proof food systems. Key notes will reflect on the remaining challenges and opportunities for biotech in food and nutrition in Europe.
Beyond knowledge sharing, the event offers extensive networking opportunities through interactive sessions, B2B meetings and informal exchanges. It brings together companies, research organisations, clusters and policymakers with the ambition to translate project results into concrete collaborations and business opportunities within the European bioeconomy.
