Terahertz for Dummies: Potential of Terahertz Sensor Technology in food industry

Avoiding spoilage of packaged food is a problem each food producer is facing. Non-destructive early stage detection of food quality deterioration is a challenge for each company. Terahertz sensor technology developments show promising future ways to tackle this challenge.

With the support of the European Regional Development Fund  (ERDF)

Potential of Terahertz sensor technology in food industry

This introduction workshop will firstly zoom in on the aspects of food safety and packaging and then go into detail on the ongoing developments in the terahertz technology. The workshop will  conclude with lab demos of potential applications.
